Granger is located close to the center of Iowa and about 15 miles northwest of Des Moines. Granger’s corporate boundaries lay in both Dallas and Polk counties. The existing major transportation thoroughfares that access the City of Granger are Iowa Highways 17, 141, and 415. Additionally, County Highways F31 and R30 provide access through the City of Granger. Numerous paved and unpaved county roads service all directions of ingress/egress. Presently, the City of Granger has three primary, two secondary, five tertiary, and three future entrances.
