For Coaches-

Coaches Meeting is at the Granger Community Center Meeting Room on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at 6:00pm (1-2nd Grade Coaches) 
-Coaches Meetings will be conducted after the deadline and will give the coaches sample lesson plans and game rules.  They will also receive a bag with basketballs for their practices.

-Coaches should email Jennifer on their weekday practice time/location/day when they have that set.

 

Online Registration will open October 7th! 

 *Deadline is November 1, 2019*

 

Coaches Meeting:  Wednesday November 6, 2019 at 6:00pm at the Granger Community Center

Dates:All Practices can begin the week of November 11th, 2019
Times:Grades 1-2: Practices for this age group are once day per week, for a maximum of 60 minutes. Practices times TBD

Games are played on Saturday mornings beginning Saturdays December 7 through January 18th (No Games December 21 & 28)

Games will be between 8:00-12:00pm

(No practices or games during Thanksgiving Break Nov. 27-29 and during Holiday Break from 12/23 - 1/3 due to schools being closed.)
Divisions:Boys vs Boys and Girls vs Girls
*1st & 2nd grade may be combined if registration numbers require
Cost:Residents & Non-Residents- $35 per player

No player requests will be granted to be on the same team unless the parents are coaching together (2 coaches per team). Please indicate this during registration.

DescriptionThis program is an instructional program lead by parent volunteers. The parent volunteer coaches will introduce the skills needed for basketball including dribbling, passing, shooting, and playing defense. Younger kids play on a lowered hoop with a smaller ball and modified rules. Players will have approximately 3 weeks of practice and then play real games. Scores will not be kept during the games.
