All Readers - A collection of book reviews done by readers, not professional reviewers.

Book Browse - BookBrowse recommends only the most exceptional current books - the kind you can't wait to tell friends about - and provides you with multiple reviews and hefty excerpts of each, plus in-depth author interviews, hundreds of reading guides, and much more.

Bookpage - The online version of the book review magazine.

Bookwire - The Internet resource dedicated to new titles, new authors, and the general scoop on the book industry! Use this site to search for book reviews, read about the latest releases, watch author video clips, and learn about upcoming book events.

Overbooked - A website for ravenous readers. Overbooked specializes in providing timely information about literary and genre fiction as well as readable non-fiction.

 

Genre-Specific Websites

Mysteries

Stop, You’re Killing Me!  -  A great site for finding the order of mystery series. It also includes lists of books by characters and locations.

Crime Writers in Alphabetical Order - A massive site that is just what it sounds like. If you can’t find the author here, he or she must be very obscure!

 

Romance:

All About Romance - The back fence for lovers of romance novels. It includes booklists on interesting topics. Just click on "Special Title Listings" under "Readers Choice."

The Romance Reader  - Find a large number of reviews on romance novels.

 

Science Fiction:

SciFan - Books and links for the science fiction fan. It is a large database that can be searched or browsed by themes, authors, or time period.

Fantastic Fiction  - Though this British site focuses on science fiction, fantasy, and horror books and authors, it also includes a large number of authors in other genre and lists titles, series, and publishing information.

 

Historical Fiction:

Historical Novel Society - A literary society devoted to promoting the enjoyment of historical fiction.
