Practices are one day per week, for a maximum of 60 minutes. All practices will be held in the Grandwood Gym on either Tuesday or Thursday evenings. Games are played on Saturday mornings at the Elementary Gym beginning Saturdays December 2nd through January 27th (No Games December 23rd & 30th) Games will be between 8:00 am - 12:00 pm (No practices or games during Thanksgiving Break Nov. 22-26 and during Holiday Break from 12/22 - 1/2 due to closed schools.) Pictures will be on November 30th at 5:30 pm. |

| Description |
This program is an instructional program led by parent volunteers. The parent volunteer coaches will introduce the skills needed for basketball including dribbling, passing, shooting, and playing defense. Younger kids play on a lowered hoop with a smaller ball and modified rules. Players will have approximately 3 weeks of practice and then play real games. Scores will not be kept during the games. |
| Coaches: |
Coaches meeting will take place on October 24th at 6 pm at the Community Center. Coaches will be able to pick up their binders and equipment. They will receive a bag with basketballs for their practices. Coaches must first confirm their practice times with the director before emailing their players. |
